On the incredible 14th street sits Little Coco’s . Everything about this restaurant’s name is embodied in it’s design; small and cute. I was excited to finally go to this restaurant ever since I saw it on Tik-Tok. It seemed like a quaint and homey Italian restaurant that serves the same Italian dishes I’ve had a million times before.

The restaurant has a very welcoming and comfortable interior. This is a perfect place to “wind-down” or “wine-down” with some friends after a busy day. Just imagine, it’s Thursday, you’ve worked 9 hours today, you haven’t had a day off since Sunday and you haven’t seen any of your friends since Saturday. You know you can just sit at home and save money, but wouldn’t you rather have a nice, relaxing, sit-down Italian meal with your friends before you ruin the rest of your weekend by going out way too hard tomorrow? Consider this evening the calm before the storm, it’s cloudy and the meatballs are ready to be served. Don’t be lazy on your couch, take the effort to order an Uber from your phone, to then sit down in a very comfortable booth at Little Coco’s. Be lazy there.

The food is very good. It has all of the Italian dishes that I love to see and never get tired of. They also have a nice cocktail menu, although I do not support spending $12+ for any cocktail, I won’t be mad if you want to treat yourself. This vibe, and this kind of meal, pairs better with a bottle of wine. So go find the cheapest red or white on the menu and order it in confidence to pretend like you actually know wine.

Artichoke Appetizer
Pasta Bolognese

The service was fine, no complaints or extra compliments there. I think the overall atmosphere is enough for the experience and the staff doesn’t have to go out of their way to make us happy. I hope that you will consider Little Coco’s one of these lazy nights and I expect an invite.
